Alpha Sigma was founded in 1974 by thirteen college students at Grove City College. At it's heart, the group strives to promote the loyalty engendered by group residence of men with common interests, and yet preserve our status as independents, while promoting the ideal of service to Grove City College and the community at large.

Our goals as a housing group are to promote friendship and loyalty among members, to support such friendship by means of group residence, and to perform such services as may be requested by the Grove City College Department of Music.
