Text Box: Dear alumni,
I am very excited about the present year’s class of Alpha Sigma. This is a very special group of guys dedicated to promoting the Christianity of Alpha Sigma. It is very clear that living as an example for Christ is in the front of many members’ minds. Personally, I came to Alpha Sigma not knowing very much about the group itself, but through the Bible studies last semester, I got to know the hearts of the guys here. Their passion for growing deeper in the Word and fellowship with one another could not be masked. I was drawn to fellowship with Christians who knew their place and wanted others to know where they stood also. I came in expecting to grow Text Box: close with the members and feed off their hunger for experiencing the knowledge of Christ, and I wasn’t disappointed. I am just happy to be where I am and am looking forward to leading Bible studies this year and learning what I can from the new members and returning members alike.
 In Christ,
Brian A. Bosak (06’) AS Chaplain

Text Box: Giving Back to Alpha Sigma
Text Box: events, sometimes just don’t go far enough. Alumni donations are an important part of Alpha Sigma’s income. Sometimes even a small sum will make a big difference to our cost conscious group. I encourage you to consider donating to Alpha Sigma. Enclosed in this newsletter is an addressed envelope if you choose to donate to Alpha Sigma. Checks may be payable to Alpha Sigma.
Text Box: This year’s group has some exciting and ambitious activities and events planned! Unfortunately for us, too often these activities are cost prohibitive. Alpha Sigma makes every attempt to explore financial options and keep costs as low as possible for our members. Our group events are set up to make sure all members can attend, and sometimes great ideas are not practical because not all members can afford it. Unlike fraternities and sororities who have dues of hundreds of dollars per semester, we still keep our Activity Waiver Fees low to accommodate all members. Text Box: The passing of the baton... for dmoose.com
Text Box: Since dmoose.com was passed on to me at the beginning of the Spring '03 semester, several updates have been made to the site. Some of these include adding several fields to the current member profiles, restructuring the entire site by using templates and standardizing the page designs.
Throughout this year, I am looking at adding a few things to the website such as a monthly e-mail newsletter, bringing back the alumni forums, and adding a list of all the past officers - as well as structuring the alumni database page in a Text Box: more user-friendly manner. I am also looking into moving dmoose.com to another web hosting service that will allow us to use dynamic content on the site.
With all these planned updates, be sure to check back every once in a while. In addition, if you have any information that needs to be updated, you can send me an e-mail at isslerjw1@gcc.edu, or send me a letter at GCC Box 151.
 God bless...
