Text Box: Alpha Sigma has found a permanent home on the internet! The site has been under construction for quite some time, but it can finally be viewed at www.dmoose.com. The page will be updated frequently with the group’s upcoming events, information about the group, and other information items alumni and current members may be concerned about. I am hoping to do a lot of exciting things with it in the months to come as more pictures and group information are added. I realize that this is the second attempt at a website, but I am confident that this will remain a permanent and important part of Alpha Sigma and will certainly provide alumni with an easy Text Box: way to keep track of the group and its direction. Responsibility for the website will be passed down to whomever has the desire and ability to continue the ongoing evolution of the site. A lot of time and effort was put into its development and will be available for years to come. If anyone would like to contribute to this website, or have any suggestions, please direct them to houkdr1@gcc.edu.

Second semester begins with the basketball season. The basketball team not only has great optimism about making the playoffs, but complementing an exciting season with a championship. Softball season follows, and after an actionless, disappointing season last year, this year's team has nowhere to go but up.

Text Box: This year’s intramural season is in full swing, and Alpha Sigma has entered with high expectations. Despite usual difficulties of fielding a football and frisbee team because of band and choir, the seasons have proceeded with some success. In the football team's third game the team managed to pull off a 15-12 win with some last second heroics. The band members had no regrets about skipping band to participate in Alpha Sigma's first win in at least 3 years. The frisbee team has also begun its season. Although the season has had somewhat of a rough start, the team anticipates not Text Box: “In the football team’s third game the team managed to pull off a 15-12 win with some last second heroics.”
